God of creation,
We see the life that you breathe into us And we are thankful.
Shine through us Lord that we may be love, kindness, and peace towards those who need it.

Written by Bobbi Salkeld

It is now our joy to celebrate the sacrament of the Eucharist meal. All who put simple trust in Christ, who desire the Spirit’s help to live a full life; all who walk a path of forgiveness and spiritual striving; all who work for love and renewal in neighbourhoods and relationships, are invited to draw near to God through this meal of thanksgiving and remembrance. This is an open table. Young and old are welcome here. In your diversity and your unity, you are welcome here.

The words of Christ offered to us by the apostle Paul go like this:
“The Lord Jesus on the night that he was betrayed took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, ‘This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way he took the cup, also after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’ For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”

Christ has died.
Christ is risen.
Christ will come again.

Let’s pray together:
God of all, we take a moment to reflect honestly on where we have not lived as our best selves Where we have forgotten our security as your beloved children
Where we have sinned in word, deed, and thought
Where we have not loved with our whole heart, where we have believed fear over trust
God you are always faithful, you forgive in a flash, and we are free
Spirit of God, unite us to Jesus and to his death and resurrection - patterns of new life all around us
Unite us to one another and your saints
As we participate in this sacred meal - remind us that you feed us with these holy mysteries May we be renewed in the love and generosity of Christ by the power of the Spirit,
