Our Operations Director, Kalie Eeles, is heading into Maternity leave this spring, and we are looking for someone to fill a 12-month contract covering our administrative needs at the church.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title:                  Administrative Assistant - Maternity Leave Cover

Nature & Scope

The Administrative Assistant serves as the point person to drive all our organizational needs relating to the facility. They will manage custodial staff and rental relationships and lead our Sunday morning hospitality teams.

 

Key Job Functions

1.   Facility

1.1      Manage custodial staff and services.

1.2      Maintain and facilitate upkeep and repair schedule.

1.3      Support rental relationships and necessary supports.

1.4      Ensure support coverage for all calendar events.

 

2.   Community Events

2.1      Work with staff to maximize the use of the facility.

2.2      Coordinate timing of events.

2.3      Event planning and logistics for our quarterly large community events

 

3. General Responsibilities

3.1      Lead coffee and hospitality teams toward a vision for a welcoming Sunday environment.

3.2      Oversee supply inventory related to hospitality and facility.

3.3      Maintain a continuing education plan for skill-building and self-improvement.

3.4      Various executive admin roles on behalf of the lead pastor

3.5      Be actively involved in the life of the church.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

1.   Ability to learn internal software systems.

2.   Desire to equip and release key leaders.

3.   Demonstrated ability to plan ahead and communicate with clarity.

4.   Experience with designing and implementing systems and structures including familiarity with the necessary technology.

The Administrative Assistant is expected to work with a minimum of supervision.  Regular meetings with the Lead Pastor and staff Leadership meetings as scheduled will be used for reporting and tracking.

Working Conditions and Benefits

Part Time Position: approximately 18-24 hours per week, 12 month contract.
