Join us as we explore God’s story through the lens of our theme: Waves of Wonder.
Through worship, Bible study, art and science, and active games, we will…
discover the significance of water imagery in scripture and dive into the Creation story in Genesis, Jesus and the stormy sea in Mark, the Israelites and the Red Sea in Exodus, and more!
celebrate and delight in God’s creation
explore the importance of water for life on earth, and learn to use water responsibly and compassionately
Camp Commons is structured with a mix of large group and small group activities. Children are invited to bring their energy, curiosity, and ideas as we explore the above topics in a welcoming environment designed to facilitate relationship building and a sense of belonging.
CAMP DETAILS:
Date: August 11-15, 2025
Child Ages: Children Entering Grades 3-6
Location: Commons Church (2404 Kensington Rd NW)
Cost: $60
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm (half day)
What To Bring: Campers will be provided with a Camp Commons t-shirt. Campers are required to bring a peanut-free snack and a water bottle with their name on it, as snacks and drinks will not be provided by Commons. Campers will also need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes to be active in, and be prepared to be outdoors (sunscreen, bug spray, light jacket, etc.).
Please Note: before or after childcare is not provided. Please drop off your child promptly at 9:00am and pick them up at 12:00pm.
