PRAYERS FOR THE COMMUNITY
By Kevin Borst

Let's pause for a moment and I want to invite you to join me in praying for the needs of our community.

Whether it those who have lost their jobs or maybe work isn't in a good place.
Those who have loved ones who are sick or in the hospital.
Or a relationship that isn't where you want it to be.

Together as a Church we want to pray for the needs of our community.
I want to invite you to pray silently with me in these next few moments,
lifting up our needs to God.

Silent Prayer

We also recognize that there are areas in our lives that we can be thankful for.
Whether it is the celebration of a new baby being born into a family.
Or maybe it's a new friendship.
Or a new season in life for you or a loved one that is just a better place to be in.

Join me in praying silently as we thank God together,

Silent Prayer

God, we lift our needs and our thanksgivings to you.
Amen.

PRAYER
By Bobbi Salkeld

Loving God,
We thank you for the personal and communal aspects of our worship.
May this gathering be a place where we genuinely meet with you, meet with each other and meet with our own soul. If we sense you near today, we thank you for your closeness. If we are longing for your presence, we thank you for the absence. For in all of these experiences of your nearness and distance, you are God – Perfect Parent, Son, and Holy Spirit.
AMEN.
